How it works

Rendered Frames, Not a Heavy 3D Engine

A 360° product viewer is not WebGL. We render a ring of frames around your machine from its CAD, then a small script swaps frames as the visitor drags. That one decision is why it loads fast, works on every phone, and never fails on a weak connection in a customer’s office.

Built from your CAD

The same model we use for animation is turned on a virtual turntable and rendered frame by frame. Every bolt and nameplate is the real geometry, not a photograph of one unit.

Light enough to load anywhere

An image sequence beats a real-time 3D model on a mid-range Android phone every time. No GPU demands, no loading spinner, no crash on old hardware.

Works on any browser, no plugin

Drag with a mouse, swipe with a thumb. Nothing to install, nothing to accept, no app store. The viewer behaves the same in Chrome, Safari and on a five-year-old handset.

Hosted on your own domain

The published viewer sits in a folder on your server and loads in an iframe. No monthly platform fee, no third-party branding, no account that can lapse and take your product pages with it.

What is a 360° product viewer?
It is an interactive image sequence that lets a website visitor drag to rotate your product through a full turn. We render the frames from your CAD model, publish them as a small self-contained viewer, and embed it in your product page. The visitor experiences it as a machine they can spin; technically it is a set of images swapped by a lightweight script.
Is this 3D or is it photography?
Ours is rendered from your 3D CAD, which means no photo studio, no shipping a machine, and no waiting until a unit is physically built. Traditional 360 product photography turns a real object on a physical turntable. For capital equipment the CAD route is faster, cheaper and possible far earlier.
Where is the viewer hosted?
On your own server, under your own domain, in a normal folder. We hand over the published files and the embed code. There is no monthly platform subscription and no third-party logo. On skindus.com, for example, each viewer sits at its own path on their site and loads in an iframe on the product page.
Will it work on phones and older browsers?
Yes, and that is the main reason we use an image sequence rather than a real-time 3D model. There is no WebGL requirement and no GPU demand, so it behaves the same on a new laptop and a five-year-old Android handset on a weak connection.
Can we add hotspots and specifications?
Yes. Callouts can be pinned to specific parts so that when a buyer rotates to the discharge valve or the control panel, the relevant specification appears at that point. This is what turns a nice rotation into a selling tool.
Can you do our whole product range?
Yes, and it gets cheaper per machine as the range grows because the setup, lighting and turntable rig are reused. We built viewers for five machine ranges at SK Indus as one project.
What do you need from us?
CAD in any standard format (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor), your finish and colour specification, and a note on which angles and details matter to your buyers. If you want hotspots, the specification text for each callout.
How much does a 360° product viewer cost?
It depends on the number of machines, the number of frames per rotation, the level of finish in the render and whether you need hotspots. A single machine and a full product range are very different jobs. Send the model list and we will quote against it.
How is this different from your interactive 360° tour?
A 360° product viewer rotates one machine on your product page. An interactive 360° tour puts the visitor inside a space they can look around and move through. One sells a product; the other shows a place.
