VR Training Simulators for Industry and Defence

Put an operator inside the machine before they ever touch it. We build virtual reality training simulators for machine operation, installation, plant safety, fire response and defence — from your own CAD, so the equipment in the headset is the equipment on your floor.

Six Simulators We Have Built

Real projects, not demos. Each one was built from the client’s own equipment data and delivered as a headset-ready training simulator.

Where it is used

Five Things a Headset Does
That a Classroom Cannot

Virtual reality training works where the real thing is too dangerous, too expensive to stop, or not built yet.

Machine operator training

An operator learns the start-up sequence, the interlocks and the failure modes on a virtual machine. No production stopped, no scrap, no risk to the line.

Installation & commissioning

Walk an erection crew through the sequence before the equipment lands on site, so the first time they lift it is not the first time they have seen it.

Fire & emergency response

Put people in a burning plant, repeatedly, safely. Fire training that a mock drill can rehearse once a year becomes something a team can run monthly.

Defence & weapon simulation

Rifle and AK47 training simulators built for the Indian Army — live-fire discipline and drill without ammunition cost.

Process understanding

Stand inside the process. Watch material move through the plant at any scale, and see what is happening inside a vessel you could never open.

Induction & safety onboarding

New hires learn plant layout, hazard zones and permit-to-work rules in a headset before they are let onto the floor.

Why VR

Twelve Operators Watch a Presentation.
Three Can Do the Job on Monday.

Classroom machine training fails for predictable reasons: the machine is not in the room, it happens once, the language does not match the floor, and nobody checks whether it worked. A simulator fixes all four.

Repetition without booking anyone’s time

A trainee can run the same start-up twenty times at 11 p.m. The machine is not occupied, the trainer is not standing there, and nothing is consumed.

Mistakes that cost nothing

The point of a simulator is to let someone break the machine. They learn what the wrong sequence feels like, in a place where wrong is free.

Built from your CAD, not a generic model

The equipment in the headset is your equipment — your guards, your HMI, your layout. Generic VR training teaches generic habits.

Measurable completion

Because it is software, it records what was attempted, what was completed and where people got stuck. A sign-in sheet records none of that.

How we build it

From CAD to Headset

Four stages. The long pole is always the 3D build, and it scales with how many machines go in.

01 — SCOPE

Who is being trained, on what

We agree the exact tasks the trainee must be able to perform, and the failure modes worth rehearsing.

02 — BUILD

Your machine in 3D

Modelled from your CAD or general arrangement drawings, with the controls and guards that actually exist.

03 — INTERACT

Rules, sequence, consequence

We program what the trainee can touch, what happens when they get it right, and what happens when they do not.

04 — DEPLOY

Headset, or screen

Delivered for standalone headsets, and where budget or scale demands it, as a desktop or exhibition-screen build.

Questions

VR Training — Common Questions

What manufacturers ask before commissioning a simulator.

What is a VR training simulator?
A virtual reality training simulator puts a trainee inside a 3D replica of your machine or plant wearing a headset. They operate the controls, follow the real sequence and see the real consequence of a wrong action — without touching production equipment. It is built from your own CAD, so what they learn transfers directly to the floor.
Do we need VR headsets, and how many?
Yes for the full experience, and fewer than most people expect. One or two standalone headsets serve a training room because trainees rotate through. We can also deliver a desktop or touchscreen build of the same simulator for induction rooms and exhibition stands where headsets are impractical.
How is this different from a 3D training video?
A video is watched. A simulator is performed. In a video the trainee sees the correct sequence; in a simulator they have to carry it out, get it wrong and try again. If what you need is explanation rather than practice, an operator training module is the cheaper and faster answer — we will tell you honestly which one your situation needs.
What do you need from us to start?
CAD in any standard format (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor), the operating sequence or SOP for the task being trained, and photographs of the real installation. If the CAD is incomplete we have built machines from general arrangement drawings before.
Can you build safety and emergency scenarios?
Yes. Fire response, emergency shutdown, confined space, permit-to-work and evacuation scenarios are among the strongest uses of VR, because they are the situations you cannot rehearse for real. Our fire trainer and emergency factory simulators are in the reel above.
Do you work on defence and non-industrial simulators?
Yes. We built rifle and AK47 training simulators for Indian Army training. The underlying work — accurate models, correct drill sequence, consequence for error — is the same discipline as industrial training.
How long does a VR simulator take to build?
It scales with the number of machines and the depth of interaction, so the honest answer depends on your task list. Tell us the equipment and the date you need it working, and we will quote against that rather than give you a number that means nothing.
How much does a VR training simulator cost?
It depends on how many machines go in, how many interactions each one needs, and whether you need headset, desktop or both. A single-machine operator simulator and a full plant emergency simulator are very different builds. Send the task list and we will quote against it.

Train Them Before They Touch It.

Tell us the machine and the task. We will tell you whether you need a full VR simulator, an interactive training module, or just a very good animation.
